Emma Ridings is a rising star in the legal profession, bringing a unique blend of passion, dedication, and real-world experience to her role at our firm. Currently wrapping up her final year of law school at Regent University School of Law, Emma is both a legal apprentice and Cornerstone Law’s Director of Operations.

With a background as a paralegal prior to pursuing her legal education, Emma boasts four years of invaluable hands-on experience in the field of law. Moreover, Emma synthesizes her background in business (B.S. in Business – Regent University) with four years of applied experience serving real estate and small business owner clients at Hanger Law. This practical foundation has fueled her passion for using the law as a powerful tool for problem-solving and advocating on behalf of her clients.

Throughout her academic journey, Emma has distinguished herself as a driven and diligent student, consistently excelling in her studies and apprenticeship. Emma, an honors student and a two-time recipient of the Regent Scholar Award, also serves on the Honor Council for the School of Law. Her unwavering commitment to excellence positions her as a future leader in the legal community, poised to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves.

Following her 1L year, Emma had the honor of working for Justice Mike Chibita, a respected member of the Ugandan Supreme Court. This experience broadened her perspective and deepened her understanding of the law's role in shaping societies around the world.

Residing in Virginia Beach with her husband, Caleb, Emma is deeply rooted in her community and committed to making a positive difference in her community. With her exceptional drive, academic achievements, and unwavering dedication to her clients, Emma Ridings is poised to embark on a remarkable legal career, and we are proud to have her as an integral part of our firm.
